The Hotel Association (l’Association des Hoteliers) has been renamed the Saint-Barthelemy Hotel and Villa Association (l’Association des Hotels et Villas de Saint-Barthelemy).
A majority of the 20 members of the Association, consisting of hotels and villa rental agencies, voted in favour of this name change which best represents its diversity.
Though the name has changed, the mission remains the same: a federation of hotel and lodging professionals that share a similar goal of developing and promoting Saint-Barthelemy’s quality tourism offering whilst respecting the specific socio-cultural and environmental characteristics of Saint-Barthelemy.
Our association harnesses the competencies and experiences of our members to execute the global strategic vision of furthering the development of the island’s tourism product, and collaborates directly with local industry participants to best represent the interests of the profession and contribute to the attractiveness of the territory.
Since its inception in 1984, the Association strives to maintain a quality tourism offering adapted to the demands of high-end clientele whilst honouring the environmental, social, and economic values unique to the island’s development.
Inter-member cooperation manifests as a desire to inform, advise, and assist members in their daily business activities whilst providing continuous representation to the various departments of the Collectivity like the Comite Territorial de Tourisme.
